Our Story
Brandon and Lexi have been ten minutes and five feet apart their whole lives. His great grandparents and her grandparents were neighbors, they went to the same kindergarten, the same swim club, they hung out in Harrisburg during Pokémon Go, and they never ran into each other.
Finally, on September 4th, 2018 they had their first date at JB Lovedrafts in downtown Harrisburg. Since then, they have moved into their house in New Cumberland with their three cats, Pocket, Kamikaze, and Mordecai. They have had countless adventures, game nights, and date nights. Brandon once turned their game room into a movie theater with a blanket fort covered in twinkle lights because Lexi missed going to movie theaters during the pandemic of 2020. Lexi surprised Brandon with a trip to Baltimore to go to the science center and the aquarium because he really loves science and has never been to the museum.
Then in August of 2020, Lexi texted her (future maid of honor) Ashley to tell her that she bought a ring to propose to Brandon. A few days later, Brandon texted Ashley the same thing. Finally, after months of waiting, these two proposed to each other on December 20th, 2020. They had both planned on doing it at the capitol building but Brandon changed his mind and did it down by the river, beating Lexi by 20 minutes! (She responded with “are you sure?!” About a hundred times) This didn’t stop Lexi from going through with her plan of proposing in front of the capitol building. (Brandon responded by calling her a butthead multiple times.) Now, these two are going on their craziest adventure yet! Every day before their wedding day was just the prologue.
