It just made sense for Brandon and Lexi to get married in downtown Harrisburg. Their first date was at JB Lovedrafts on 2nd street and they got engaged along the river and at the Capitol Complex.

Harrisburg is a town with a rich history that spans more than 200 years. If you are looking for things to do in the area, we’ve got suggestions! There are so many art galleries, historical landmarks, museums and theatres. Some of our favorite restaurants include JB Lovedrafts, The Sturges Speakeasy, The Millworks, Stock’s on 2nd, and Federal Taphouse.

Some of our other favorite places in the downtown area include Fort Hunter Mansion & Park, Gamut Theatre, Midtown Scholar Bookstore Cafe, Open Stage, The Pennsylvania Capitol building, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, and Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center.

From I-83 North: Take exit 43 toward Capitol / 2nd Street. Use the left lane to keep left at the fork and continue towards S 2nd street. Continue straight onto S 2nd street for 2.3 miles. Turn left onto Emerald street. Turn left onto N Front street. King Mansion will be on our left in about 470 feet.

From I-83 South: Take exit 43 toward Capitol / 2nd street. Use the left lane to keep left at the fork and continue toward S 2nd street. Continue straight onto S 2nd street for 2.3 miles. Turn left onto Emerald street. Turn left onto N Front street. King Mansion will be on our left in about 470 feet.

From I-81 South: Take exit 66 for Front street toward Downtown Harrisburg. Keep left at the fork, following signs for Downtown Harrisburg/South Front street and merge onto N Front street. King Mansion will be on your left in about 2 miles.

From I-81 North: Take exit 66 toward N Front street. Keep right at the fork, following signs for Downtown / Harrisburg / South Front street. Merge onto N front street. King Mansion will be on your left in about 2 miles.
